At Doug Mayberry Property Management, PLLC, we approach our business with the same attention to detail that we provide to your guests. While Key West has a reputation as a laid-back, laissez-faire destination, we take our property management and guest services very seriously and with an exceptional degree of professionalism. Our goal is to “Exceed Your Expectations.”

We have four categories of properties we manage in the Doug Mayberry Property Management Collection:

  • Vacation rental homes (with transient license from the City of Key West)
  • Seasonal rentals (30 days or more)
  • Homes not for rent but we’ll look after it for you while you’re away
  • Long term (annual) rentals

Depending on the number and type of property you would like us to represent, and the level of service you require, you will find the cost of our comprehensive services highly competitive. These costs are provided to you up front and in writing following a tour of the property and an interview with you. If we are managing your property as a rental, all of our management fees are included in our commission. From meet-and-greets for your guests to a careful and complete accounting of your funds, it’s all covered.

If we are simply helping you out during the off season and you do not wish to rent your property, you will find our à la carte service menu and fees give you the latitude to manage your own important investment a little or a lot, depending on your individual needs. We can oversee your own vendors or we can provide ours. Our cadre of highly professional, experienced, licensed and insured service providers will give you peace of mind when it comes to the maintenance and security of your investment. We specialize in dealing with contractors with quick experience in preparation before and rapid clean-up following inclement weather.

We adhere to the strictest legal and highest professional standards when it comes to managing your funds. We contract the accounting services of Patrick Shank who holds a B.A. in Business Administration/Accounting. Patrick has more than 20 years of managerial accounting experience - serving clients in diverse fields such as real estate management, magazine publishing, event planning, food service, commercial printing, lodging accommodations and non-profit associations. You can depend on him to provide you with timely and accurate reports and prompt dispersal of your funds 100% of the time. Originally from York Springs, Pennsylvania, Patrick relocated to Key West in February 2003 after ten years in New York City. He apparently doesn’t miss the cold.
